Today I packaged 8 pulled pork meals for the post-op freezer. I went to the store closing sale at Old Navy and while I didn't find a thing for my boys, came home with a huge bag overflowing with adorable stuff for our soon to be born nephew. (And spent less than $20!)I hung the red cabinet in the boys bathroom (still deciding if I like it there) and hung another in my bathroom (which had to be removed because in the fog I have been living in for the last week it didn't dawn on me that the door would bang it every time it opened.) I went to breakfast with my honey and we went to Walmart to get the hangers we needed to hang the red cabinet. While we were there, we picked up a container to hold our first aid supplies (with 3 teenage boys, it gets used a lit and the old container broke.) Ethan and I went for a walk with a friend and her daughter. The boys and I ran back to Walmart for a few things I forgot (happens every time) and we all went to a friends church for dinner and a presentation about SIFAT. We roasted a turkey.
Tomorrow Marty is going to paint the kitchen and laundry room (2 hour job) for me . While he is doing that I will once again attempt to work on the dining room, although I really think that isn't going to happen until I am done with everything else. I am going to clean my bathroom (10 minute job), clean my bedroom (10-15 minute job) and clean off my desk (20 minute job). After he is done, I will make the turkey pot pie filling (1 1/2 - 2 hour job? I don't have a pan big enough to make it all at once, so I have to make it in batches. Unless the roaster will work... ) and freeze it for the post-op freezer. I will swap the shower curtains and rugs from one bathroom to the other (apparently, the boys don't like foofoo French) and hang the pictures in my bathroom and try to figure out where to put the cabinet without a home (30 minute job).
Did I mention that I got my cameraa back? I am so happy! I am also mad at the Circuit City employee who told me it takes 4-6 weeks. If I had known it would take less than a week, I would have had it fix when we still lived in Michigan. I was afraid that it wouldn't get back to us before we moved, so waited. Once Circuit City closed, it took a big of digging to find out how to get it fixed. I am so glad that they were able to fix it. I love my cheap little 8 megapixel Kodak!
